The Scajaquada Sweep
Small Group Cleanups - Saturday September 18th & Saturday September 25th
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Scajaquada Sweep!
This event is a part of Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper's waterway cleanup program.
Volunteers can safely come together or on their own to engage in direct citizen action, removing litter from the Scajaquada Creek sub-watershed. Choose your location to cleanup on land, from a kayak on the water, or on your own by completing a Solo Sweep!

Solo Sweep Days
Sunday September 19th & September 26th
Can’t join us on a Saturday? Take action when it works for your schedule! Sweep any day of the week or unite with friends or family on Solo Sweep Sundays. Choose any publicly accessible park, shoreline, or your own neighborhood. Don't forget to download the Ocean Conservancy's Clean Swell app to collect data while you sweep! Find out by clicking below.

Additional Important Notes:
- Volunteers are expected to dress appropriately for the weather and bring their own water (think reusable!).
- Your cleanup site and time are included in your registration confirmation email. Please check your email and arrive on time.
- You will be provided your Site Captain's name and contact information in the reminder email.
- If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a parent our guardian.
